Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Sonuvi is a personal music-library and playback application. This policy explains what information Sonuvi handles when you connect music sources selected by you.
Google Drive
Google Drive integration is optional. Sonuvi requests access only when you choose to connect Google Drive. With your permission, Sonuvi uses Google’s supported sign-in and Drive APIs to browse and index audio files and folders you select, and to download selected audio for playback on your device.
Google authentication is performed through Google’s supported OAuth/Sign-In system. Google authorization credentials are handled by the device integration and supported secure storage. Sonuvi does not send Google credentials or tokens to the Sonuvi Server, does not sell Google user data, and does not use Google Drive data for advertising. Sonuvi uses Google Drive data only to provide the user-requested library and playback features. Google user data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide those features or when required by law.
Removing a Google Drive library from Sonuvi does not delete files from Google Drive. Sonuvi may remove its local catalog, cached audio, and artwork for that library. You can revoke authorization through your Google Account.
Other sources
Files and iCloud Drive access is controlled by the permissions and document-provider choices you make on your device. Apple Music access uses Apple’s MusicKit framework and the permissions you grant to the app. Apple controls the availability and terms of those services.
Sonuvi may store library metadata, artwork, playback state, and cached audio locally on your device to provide its features. If you configure a Sonuvi Server, the app exchanges the requests and information needed for that configured server connection. Google Drive data is not routed through the Sonuvi Server.
Security and choices
We use platform-supported storage and authentication mechanisms appropriate to the app. No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free. You can remove connected libraries, clear local app data, sign out where supported, and revoke third-party authorization through the relevant provider.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as Sonuvi evolves. The date above identifies the current version. Questions about this policy can be raised through the project’s public repository.
